Description:
This field guide acts as a companion to Wild Flowers of Eastern Andalucía (2014). Covers the flora of the Andalucían coastline along the Atlantic, Straits of Gibraltar and Mediterranean. Coverage extends up to about 1 kilometre inland to include wider coastal habitats of cliffs, salt marshes, ramblas and materials, in addition to beaches and dunes.
This guide can be easily carried in a backpack. It describes a selection of more than 500 of the most characteristic species to be found on this beautiful and varied coast, illustrated with 700 photographs. Some species are special to the area but many of the species illustrated also grow on Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts further afield in Spain, Portugal and France.
