This book exceeded my expectations. It is beautifully produced. The excellent photographs do justice to some of the most beautiful moths of the world. The images of Castniidae and Uraniidae are striking. Most of the known species in these two families are shown in color. For the Saturniidae, the authors selected mainly on African ones, of which many species are shown. The authors produced this book as a tribute to the late Roberto Vinciguerra by publishing this biography of him and showcasing part of his large collection of pinned moths. Anyone with an interest in one or more of these three moth families should own a copy. The book is definitely worth the price, and I highly recommend it.
