Wrappers slightly worn. Good. From the library of John Francis Levy (1921-2005), Professor of wood science, Imperial College, London, with his signature to endpaper. The obituary published in The Guardian newspaper stated he was 'a coxswain with a wooden leg who became Imperial College London's first professor of wood science'.
