Condition

Roy. 8vo, cont. full red morocco (prize binding, gilt crest of Palmer's School, Grays, to front board), rubbed with some wear to corners and head/foot of front joint, raised bands to spine, gilt ornithological motifs to corners of both boards and spine compartments, gilt inner dentelles, aeg; marbled endpapers. Some evidence of old damp stain to top corner of rear board, causing damage to corresponding area of rear endpapers and light water stain to top blank corner of pages at the rear. Some light foxing to prelims and occasional spotting/light soiling to margins. Good.
