Condition

Roy. 8vo, orig. cloth, gilt, some minor wear to extremities, rebacked preserving original backstrip, new marbled endpapers, new head- and tailband. Old water stain to top and bottom edges extending approx. 2cm and 0.5cm respectively from head- and tailband, but not impinging onto the page surfaces. Light stain to bottom edge of some pages. Some foxing, mostly light, but heavier to half-title and final few plates. Good. E.H. Eason's copy, with his name in pencil to the title page (dated 1935), and a few marginal pencil annotations in the same hand.
