2 vols, 12mo, gilt title to spines, Vol. I: orig. blind-stamped, brown cloth, worn, with some loss to head and foot of spine, split to top of both joints, spine faded; front hinge broken, holding with one cord, rear endpaper removed, one plate loose (possibly from another copy). Vol. II: recased in orig. blind-stamped, green cloth, rear free endpaper replaced with matching yellow paper. Some light foxing to title pages. Good. From the library of Michael Bryant, Hampshire ornithologist, with his bookplates.
