An early run of this important entomological journal, from Vol. 1 (1890), up to Vol. 25 (1913) lacking only part 9 from vol. 14. The journal was founded by the famous Lepidopterist J.W. Tutt, who was the first editor, from 1890 until his death in January 1911. It has been published without a break ever since. The journal is largely concerned with Lepidoptera (Butterflies and Moths).
Condition
25 vols, 8vo: 12 vols in cont. half leather, very worn, some spines defective, some boards detached; 10 vols bound in 5, later cloth; 3 vols in parts as issued. A good run.
