Condition
Vg in slightly worn d/w (in removable protective sleeve). Includes a typescript postcard signed by the author, dated 1949 acknowledging information received from a Mr R. Walker on a large flock of Limosa limosa (Black-tailed godwit) recorded in 1948. The author thanks a number of field observers in his introduction, including R. Walker, and the section on the Black-tailed godwit refers to the large flock seen by R. Walker in 1948 near Lytham.
