Description:
Text: Vol. 1 in English; vol. 2 in Danish. As stated in an abstract of a review of this work published in Nature, 1933 " This substantial work is a record of observations of the habits of Danish spiders, and appears in a somewhat unusual form. The full accounts are contained in the second volume, written in Danish and fully illustrated; the first volume is a slightly condensed [English] translation, almost without illustrations save for a collection of plates at the end. Thus the first volume forms an English guide to the second". The first volume includes additional observations not published in the second volume including investigations from the Riesengebirge and Tyrol and from Sweden (Smaaland and Ă–land).
