Cr. 4to (260x190mm), orig. publisher's brown buckram, gilt, crossed-swords design to front board, top edge tinted brown, other edges uncut. In rather torn/worn d/w, with some loss, which has been laid onto chamois leather backing - some worming to the leather which has also affected the cloth of the spine and front cover to a small extent, and a few small worm tracks to the endpapers; not affecting the main text block. Occasional foxing. Original owner's name to endpaper.
