This is the nicest book on Saturniidae ever published, because it has all of the world's saturniids under one cover. If I could only own one book on Saturniidae, it would be this one. There are color photos of every stage (eggs, larvae of each instar, pupae, cocoons, pinned adult moths) for almost every species. The appendix tells the hostplants that Lampe used to rear each species. There are hundreds of species treated, including many rare ones, and all of the large and famous ones from all over the world. The price is surprisingly low for such a great book. If you buy it, you will not be disappointed.
