Presented to Parliament by Command of His Majesty. April, 2020. [Cmd. 657]. The principal lands and islands included in the dependencies of the Falkland islands are: South Georgia, the South Shetland Islands, Graham Land, with the islands adjacent to it, the South Orkney Islands, the South Sandwich Islands. The terms of the committee were ‘To consider what can be done to facilitate prompt action at the conclusion of the First World War in regard to the preservation of the whaling industry and to the development of other industries in the Dependencies of the Falkland Islands and … what purely scientific investigations are most required in connexion with these regions’.

4to (330x200mm), buckram, orig. wrappers retained (slightly worn, small tear to front wrapper). Withdrawn from an institutional library, a few ink stamps, repair to title page. Good.
