Text French. Presents an inventory, present and past, of the vascular plants in the French departments of Loire and Rhône, based on the 742,000 records gathered since 2005.
Of the 2510 vascular plant species recorded, detailed species accounts are given for 1915 of these: latin name, french name, vernacular name(s), lifecycle, flowering times, status and rarity, threats, conservation status, French and local distributions, preferred habitat, comments, etc. Each species is illustrated by a photograph and a distribution map for the Loire and the Rhone. Conservation issues are also described for the 392 notable species recorded in this area. Finally, 305 other species (accidental, doubtful, etc.) are briefly noted.
