A biography of Percival Norton Johnson (1792–1866), British metallurgist, assayer, and mine owner, who is best known for perfecting the process of extraction of Palladium from gold ores. Hw was also a founder of Johnson Matthay, one of Britain's largest chemical and precious metals firms.
