The main section of the book, 'Orchids of Lebanon, The Album', occupies pp. 43-189, and contains photographs and descriptions of 86 types of orchids. Introductory chapters include: Orchids and Insects in Dialogue, The Life of Orchids, Ethnic Use from Art to Gastronomy, Conservation. A final section, A Calendar and Status of Orchids, gives diagramatic representation of phenology, status and geographic location/elevation for each species.
