Condition
8vo, recased in near cont. half leather, some wear to corners, sympathetic new spine with gilt rules and leather title piece, cont. marbled boards. Some foxing/spotting particularly to map and plates; browning to lower inner corner of pages in rear half of text. Good. Signature of R. Fielding Harmer to top of title page. Angling-themed bookplate of Henry Alden Sherwin (1842-1916), co-founder of the Sherwin-Williams Company, in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1866. His large private library of books on fishing was sold at auction in 1946, 30 years after his death.
