Myrmeleontoid includes a historic review of classification taxonomic systems, morphology, faunal analysis and biology of the four families respectively In the taxonomic section, 4 families, 44 genera and 151 species in Myrmeleontoidea from China are recognized, including Myrmeleontidae: 2 subfamilies, 6 tribes, 31 genera, 116 species; Ascalaphidae: 2 subfamilies, 11 genera, 29 species; Psychopsidae: I genus, 5 species, Nemopteridae I genus, I species.
