Text Hungarian/English. This fourth volume in the series Fibigeriana Supplements comprises the third, revised edition of the Macrolepidoptera of Hungary. A bilingual, up-to-date, annotated checklist with colour illustrations of set specimens of all Heterocera and Rhopalocera species known from Hungary. Includes some genitalia illustrations. The Noctuoidea section is a direct continuation of the publications dealing with the results of the ongoing, complete revision of the European Noctuoidea which was started within the framework of the ‘Nolini of the World’, the ‘Fauna Ibérica’ and the ‘Plante Noctuidae Collection Catalogue’ projects.

Includes many taxonomic revisions. As a consequence of the revisional work, the present volume includes the description of a new subgenus, 2 new species and 4 new subspecies. The descriptions of the new taxa are presented in English, in a separate chapter.
