Description:
Text Dutch. Covers 54 species of dragonflies found in Drenthe, the Netherlands; their ecology and the different biotopes and landscapes found in the region, plus the typical dragonfly species occurring there. For each species habitat, lifestyle, current distribution and expectations for the future are given. Potential threats are also covered, and any measures that could be taken to protect species and their habitats. Distribution maps are included, with nature reserves overlaid on the maps, and a table with the status of each species in both the Netherlands as a whole and Drenthe in particular, the rarity, population trend and Red List status is given.
