Text French with identification keys bilingual, French and English. Covers the 78 currently known species of Mantodea of Guyana. Their biology and ecology is very poorly known and it is impossible to draw up a complete inventory of the species present in South America. In an attempt to help fill this gap, the author collected all available information over a 10-year period, and carried out a taxonomic and systematic revision to produce a precise list of the species present in Guyana. Each species description includes information on description, diagnostic characters, distribution, biology, phenology, etc.
