Extensive and important collection of c 2,000 papers covering Arachnida (Mites, Ticks, Spiders) Myriapoda, etc., compiled by Keith Hotson Hyatt (1932-2021), acarologist at the Natural History Museum, London. International in coverage, the collection is housed in 42 box files. It includes papers by some 200 authors including the leading arachnologists, of the late 19th and 20th century. Most papers are stamped K.H. Hyatt, a few ‘Jackson bequest’ A.R. Jackson is sometimes known as the “Father of British Arachnology” and a few have the stamp of Sidnie Milana Manton, (1902-1979).
The collection includes papers by: William Syer Bristowe (1901-1979), approx. 55 papers, mostly British Spiders; Octavius Pickard-Cambridge (1828-1917); Arthur Randall Jackson (1877-1944); Harry Hoogstraal (1917-1986), and many others.

Arranged alphabetically in 42 cloth box files (somewhat worn, frayed), (with card subfolders for major authors within each box).
