Description:
Hawkweeds are the ultimate botanist’s challenge with some 420 species in the UK. Identifying them in Gloucestershire is made a lot easier when the list is narrowed down to the 49 we are likely to encounter. This volume is 66 pages in A4 format and designed for use with specimens in the study. There is a dichotomous key, then a page for each species, well-illustrated with photos of validated specimens. Other sections include descriptions of key characters and collecting voucher specimens.
