Text Italian. This is a journal of Ethiopian and Eritrean archaeology established by Felice Ostini, Director of the Istituto di studi Etiopici d'Asmara. The French Egyptologist Jean Leclant (1920-2011) noted in a review published in Annales d'Éthiopie, 1959, that these 'deux fasicules qui comportent nombre de mémoires intéressants por l'archéologie éthiopienne' [two fascicules which contain a number of interesting memoirs for Ethiopian archaeology].
