Chinese with English summary. This is the third volume dedicated to the Miridae (Hemiptera). The general introduction gives brief information on research history, morphological characteristics, flora analysis, and biological and economic significance. In the species monographs, five subfamilies mainly found in China are described, for a total of 268 species belonging to 56 genera. This volume includes 28 new species, 6 new Chinese genera records and 16 new Chinese species records. A total of 217 illustrations of morphological characteristics and 272 colour photos of the dorsal view of adults are included.
