This is a marvellous little book. It is well organized, and full of color photos of larvae and living adults, and some pinned adults. It contains a lot of details in the text regarding habitats, foodplants, and behavior of each species. There are no misspellings or misidentifications. Anyone with an interest in Saturniidae should own a copy of this book. Most of the species of Saturniidae in Illinois are found all over eastern North America. The book is hardbound, well constructed, and has a nice dust jacket. It is well worth the price. I highly recommend it for libraries and individuals.
