Fibigeriana Supplement. Vol. 3

Description:

This third volume of the Fibigeriana Supplement series includes, as the first section, the first part of a new series Nolini of the World. The intention of this series is to publish works of genera and generic complexes of the Nolini of the world. The first part in the series includes the entirely Indo-Australian genus Manoba Walker, 1864, comprising 130 species and 11 subspecies, with descriptions of 44 new species and 3 new subspecies. All known species are illustrated in enlarged colour photos while their genitalia are illustrated by black and white figures.

The second part of this supplement includes: 11 articles dealing with the taxonomy and biogeography of different Palaearctic and Oriental Noctuidae (s. str.) genera. These articles contain altogether 4 new genera, 1 new subgenus, 23 new species and 10 new subspecies, several new statuses and new combinations.
