Description:
Manuscript list of Ethiopian snakes, with printed key map to locations. Includes an identification key to the snake genera of Ethiopia, a list of species with locations, and species lists for the Awash Park / Melca Werer, Arba Minch, Gambela, and Addis Abeba [sic] areas. Guillaume Marie de Rougemont (1945-2020), was an entomologist and traveller who spent much of his twenties in Ethiopia exploring and working as an interpreter for Médecins sans Frontières. He was also a keen amateur coleopterist, discovering and describing several hundred species of beetle from all across the world.
