This is a massive tome, 2.4 kilos, containing reams of data about caterpillar food plants and life histories of 19th century collectors. All this for a mere 150 species, perhaps 5% of the species present in the area.
There are no maps, no flight periods and few photographs, much of the identification relying on old museum specimens.
