Beverley Robinson Morris (1816-1883) was the younger brother of Francis Orpen Morris (1810-1893), who produced numerous works on British natural history, many also printed by Benjamin Fawcett.

There appears to be some confusion over the date of the third edition, which is given as 1891 by Wood, but 1881 by the other bibliographies consulted. All copies of the third edition we have seen are dated 1891].
Condition
Large-4to, orig. blue-green cloth, gt dec. to spine and front board, teg. Extremities lightly rubbed; a few minor marks to boards. Light spotting to fore-edge, some scatterd foxing, mostly light (heavier to front endpapers) but generally a very good, clean copy. Gift inscription to endpaper dated 1890.
