First published in 1969, Australian Parrots, unites Joseph Forshaw, one of Australia's foremost ornithologists and a leading expert on parrots, and William Cooper, one of Australia's finest wildlife artists. Their collaboration produced some of the most impressive bird monographs of the twentieth century.

2 vols, folio (514x370mm), orig. green full morroco, decorative design of parrot blocked to each cover, raised bands and leather title pieces to spines, housed in cloth solander case (limited light soiling). Fine condition.
