Description:
This volume is a combination of travelling experiences, long-term breeding experience and data from the available literature. The photos are by more than 60 photographers from 20 different countries. Photos include some recently described species e.g. Trimeresurus gunaleni, T. rubeus, T. cardamomensis, T. toba and T. phuketensis. The author has produced a series of watercolours (Tropidolaemus, and also Protobothrops jerdoni) for comparative purposes. An up-to-date checklist (by David & Vogel) is provided in the form of an appendix.
