Description:

Attractive illustrations by the Swedish sculptor, carver and illustrator Arnrid Banniza Johnston (1895-1972). During the 1930s Johnston designed posters for London Transport and this led her to book illustration. This work which covers the mammals only, it is considered her most important work.

Condition

Folio, orig cloth, slightly worn. As usual some marginal foxing. Short tear to index. Good.
