Text bilingual Italian/English with a trilingual preface in English, Italian and Spanish. With 121 species represented in this seventh volume, this series now treats 877 species. With the next volume, the authors hope to reach 1000 species. Although it gets more difficult to gather new material, they intend to continue this undertaking. In this volume they have almost finished the genus Chauvetia and figured many species belonging to the Rissoidae (Pusilina, Rissoa, Setia) and the Veneridae (Venerupis, Polititapes, Ruditapes). They also show some Polyplacophora that until now, had been neglected.
