Text Chinese with Latin names. There are more than 8,000 species of scale insects in 34 families in the world, and about 1,100 species in 27 families in my country (according to the SCALENET classification system). This atlas records 310 species of scale insects in 27 families, 159 genera and 27 families distributed in China. Each species is provided with ecological photos, brief morphological identification characteristics, geographical distribution, main host plants and simple living habits. It can serve as an important reference for agricultural and forestry workers, especially grassroots agricultural and forestry technicians, to identify scale insects.
