Edith Marion Patch (1876–1954) was an American entomologist. After achieving a degree from the University of Minnesota in 1901 and later a Ph.D. from Cornell University, she was a founder of the Department of Entomology at the University of Maine. She became an international authority on aphids, and was first female president of the Entomological Society of America. Today is recognized as the first successful professional woman entomologist in the United States and a notable author of books on natural history for young readers.
