Payment Methods

1. Credit/Debit Cards. We accept VISA/MASTERCARD/AMEX/JCB/DINERS CLUB. Card payment made via Opayo/SagePay secure payment gateway. Card payments are in £ Sterling (GBP). Currencies other than £ Sterling shown on our website are for guidance only. Any currency conversion will be at a rate determined by your card provider on the day the payment is made. Some card providers also make a currency conversion charge. Your card will only be charged as books are dispatched. For part shipped orders, your card will be charged separately for each dispatch.

We can invoice in € (EUR) or $ (USD) by prior agreement. Payments in € (EUR) or $ (USD) must only be paid to our Euro or US Dollar account respectively. For international payments all bank charges must be paid, including those made by our bank to receive funds (£8 or currency equivalent). This amount will be added to the invoice. If you make payment with bank charges "shared" this bank charge must be paid. If you make payment in such a way that you accept all bank charges, and we receive the full amount without deduction, this bank charge may be deducted from the invoice total. We will be entitled to recover any unpaid bank charges from the customer.

3. Bank draft: In £ Sterling (GBP), drawn on a U.K. bank. Payable to Pemberley Books.
By prior agreement we can also accept cheques (with a minimum value of £100, or currency equivalent) in € (EUR) or $ (USD), drawn on an EU or US bank respectively. A bank charge of €10 or $12 per cheque will be added to the invoice for this method of payment to cover the charge made by our bank to collect the cheque.

4. Cash: Customers may send cash (£ Sterling), but this is not recommended and will be entirely at their own risk. It is highly recommended that cash is only sent via registered mail.

5. Paypal: We can accept payment by Paypal to orders@pemberleybooks.com. A charge of 4% will be added to the total to cover the Paypal fees.

Please note - we do not accept Book Tokens as payment.
